ループから抜けられぬ状態を VR 空間内ゾエトロープで表現 する試み。インスピレーションを詩曲 Dig a Hole by Blind Willies から得ての作品制作。
Attempt at using a zoetrope within a VR space to express the state of being stuck in a loop. The work was produced with in- spiration from the song “Dig a Hole” by Blind Willies.
東京藝術大学美術学部工芸科染色研究室出身。広告会社で印刷媒体を扱った後2001年から渡米し南カリフォルニア大でアニメーションを学ぶ。Stop-Motion やミックスメディアのアニメーション短編制作で修士を取る。その後LAで Duck Studio と数年間契約アーティストとしてして働く傍ら地元の州立大学や芸術高校で教える。2019年に帰国し現在神奈川工科大学で専門教育講師として就業。
Graduated from Tokyo University of Arts Department of Crafts, Textle Atrs. After working in print media at an advertising firm, he moved to the U.S. in 2001 to study animation at the University of Southern California, where he earned a master's degree in stop-motion and mixed-media animation short films.She has been working as a contract artist with Duck Studio in LA for several years, teaching at local state universities and art high schools, and returned to Japan in 2019 to work as a lecturer at Kanagawa Institute of Technology.
